Venice hotel

Hello,

We are looking for hotel in Venice. We would like to stay in a quiet place. We don’t mind to walk 10 minutes to be in the center. Our budget is under 100 Euros a night for two. My choices were:

* Accademia Villa Maravege
* Ala
* Flora
* Hotel Pausania
* La Calcina
* Messner
* Savoia E Jolanda

Advices and other suggestions are welcome.
I love the Flora but I don't think it fits into your price range by a long shot.
Perfect location, good service, all amenities, some rooms larger than others.

I dont't think any of above hotels are within 100 euros even in low seasons.

A quick browse of http://www.venere.com/it/venezia/ will show that there is very little to choose from in Venice for under 100 € a night. Maybe some place on the Lido (which I would not otherwise recommend without this severe budget constraint). And as others have suggested there might be some better prices than I know during the very slowest weeks of the "off season" (to the extent that Venice has an "off season").

Best wishes,

Rex
The Hotel Paganelli was the best. Very reasonable. A little noisy, but when you close the shutters, absolutely quiet. Real close to St. Marks.

Albergo “LOCANDA SILVA”

Fondamenta del Rimedio 4423, 30122 Venezia- ITALIA

Tel.041 5227643 – 041 5237892 ; Fax: 041 5286817

Email : [email protected]

We have stayed here many times. In April the cost was 104 Euros for a double with a bath for one night, or 100Euros per night for three nights. It is located close to Maria Formosa Campo, about eight minutes walk from San Marco.
It is plain and simple, but very pleasant and much frequented by Europeans.

I am planning a trip to Europe, including Venice, next year and the following website was recommended to me as a good jumping off point for finding reasonably priced, clean, "off-the-beaten-track" hotels. Several people I know used this site to find hotels for their Europe trip and were very happy with those accommodations.

www.eurocheapo.com

G ood luck,
Jennie
