Venice day trips
 

I will be in Venice for nine days in early May. Looking for some interesting day trips from Venice. What did you do that you enjoyed?

We went to Padova, Vicenza, and Verona. Each place probably warrants a full day, but we visited all 3 in just one day. You can read about our trip in my trip report:

Not sure if you are looking for something farther than this, but I hope you will consider a trip to the islands of Torcello and Burano. Glad to give more details if you are undecided.

Boat/bus/boat to Chioggia.

Sirmione on Lake Garda or just a bit farther to Brescia.

Although I haven't been there, I was signed up for a day tour to Asolo. There were only two of us signed up that day and they canceled the trip.
