Venice - B&B Ca' Satriano any reviews yet?

Hi All,

Several months ago I booked 2 nights at Ca' Satriano in Venice for my upcoming visit in May.

Here's the website for all those who love to look at pictures...

http://www.ca-satriano.com/www/page.html

At the time I booked I couldn't find much detail about it other than being a good location and rumour of it being a new gem...

As my trip is coming up(YAY)I'm curious to know if there are any fresh reviews, and has anyone here actually stayed there yet?!

Thank you!

Eileen

Can't help you with a review, but it looks lovely! Would you mind sharing what approximately the price per night is? This looks like one to consider for the future!

Hi Sally,

Sorry didn't see your question... I'm paying 150 euro for a double - not bad at all. I think there is a 5% discount when paying cash too.

I'll let others know about it when I return in June.

Ok so Ca' Satriano!!!

After we found it, (lol I think most people have a hard time finding where they are staying) it was wonderful for us.

Lovely, lovely rooms, there are only 3 here and we had two of them, both on the 2nd floor. The 3rd one is off of the kitchen looks on to a canal.

Christain who is managing the place by himself god bless him, does a great job. However if you are the sort of person who requires a lot of attention and need someone at the front desk often - this would not be the place to stay.

Our one room looked on to a canal and in the day you could hear classical music across the way coming from the music conservatory. Our second room looked out onto a small courtyard.

Nice furnishing in both with jaccuzi bathtubs! This part was pure heaven... After walking for days this was such an unbelievable pleasure to just soak.

I would definitely stay here again - great price, great location & fantastic strong coffee - I miss Christian whipping up espresso in the morning and offering me a smoke

Hope this helps and I know they are much better now on answering e-mails.
