venice apartments

We were ready to jump on an apt. offered by cheapvenice even though it's location wasn't great because of the price and because the site manager was so nice and so organized, a pleasure to do business with. Then someone else offered us the same price for a much larger apt. in a great location. We said we were interested . . . and haven't heard from him since. Our search continues.

we have reserved with her for march...she is very interesting and responds within a day or two...she seems very nice and the apartments look quite nice and the location could not be better

Statia - do you know anything about the Santa Maria Formosa apartment from venice rentals? I just booked it for a trip in March and am looking for reassurance.
Thanks.

Sorry, happyscrapper, but we stayed in the San Aponal apartment. We were overall very pleased with the apartment, it's representation on the website, as well as the service both before and during our trip.

The only other apartment I saw in person with Venice Rentals was the one across from Scala del Bovolo. However, try slowtrav.com where there are more Venice Rentals personal experiences noted. You might find a listing and personal references for that apartment there. That's where I found info on the one we rented.

I am also renting an apartment from Venicse Rentals in May. I am renting a 2 bedroom 2bath in the Dorsoduro area. Have heard great revues of Venice Rentals on slow travlers.

Happyscrapper - what is it about the SMF apartment that has you concerned? I stayed there for a night while waiting for the San Aponal to open up. It's got lots of room. Is there something specific that you're worried about???
