Venice Apartment San Vio Giardino -Truly Venice agency?

Has anyone heard of/dealt with Truly Venice? I have not found any of their apartments reviewed on this site. Found a great-looking place in Dorsoduro (my preferred area to stay). It's a bit steep (2,000 Euro for 5 nights) but it's large and pretty luxurious by our usual travel standards. There are six of us traveling together (us, my 2 children, my parents). Thanks!

Have you tried the Venice Trip Advisor Forum? I find they have a lot of information. Give it a whirl.

I found lots of Venice apartment info on the Trip Advisor site that Mormor mentions. Don't know about Truly Venice, though.

Thanks for the responses and suggestion. Just wanted to let you know that I did find some posters on TripAdvisor who rented through Truly-Venice.com and had great experiences. Thanks again!

Hi anndaquino. Have you now experienced Truly Venice yourself ? I am looking at one of their apartments for next year. Thanks.

2000 euros for a place that accommodates six sounds a little high but not crazy high. Of course, a lot would depend on location and condition of the place and its amenities. If it's a nice place in a good location, 2000 probably isn't bad.

Having now read for myself all the rave reviews for Truly Venice on TA, I've gone ahead & booked their 1 bedroom (2 person) 'Orseolo' apartment which is listed at €1100pw : I think their quoted price must be an average through the year as it actually came in at €2120 for 2 weeks in June. This is very reasonable compared to most other places I'd looked at and the apartment looks lovely, has aircon & everything (http://www.trulyveniceapartments.com...?id=76&orseolo).

Caroline, You won't be sorry! We did end up in the Truly Venice apartment and were very happy with it. The young woman (Daniela) who owns/runs the agency did a very nice job keeping in touch with us and meeting us. We were already very familiar with Venice, but if you are not, Daniela has lots of great recommendations. Hope you have a wonderful trip! Ann
