Venice Airport to San Cassiano in Dolomites

I have been very confused for hours now on how to get from Venice airport to San Cassiano in the Dolomites via train or bus, or a mixture of the two. I arrive at Venice from UK around 12 noon on 17/06/2016. Can anyone help?

There is no train at Venice Airport aka Marco Polo. The other airport is Treviso.

You would have to get to Santa Lucia Station in Venice to take a train.

You can do this by taking the #5 bus from Marco Polo to Piazzale Roma in Venice. You would then walk over the Calatrava Bridge to Santa Lucia Station. Takes 5
minutes.

Have you done a schedule search on trentalia?

The Cortina Express Bus should work. It departs from the airport at 2:15p, arrives San Cassiano at 5:50p. Note that reservations are required for the first leg to Cortina.
