Venice Airport to Cruise Ship Dock
 

Can anyone tell me how far it is and how long it takes from the Venice Airport to where the cruise ships dock?

We took a cruise on a small ship last year. Can't tell you how far it is, but we took a taxi from the airport and I think it took about 25 minutes. We were advised this was the best way to get to the boat... and it was.(We've entered Venice many others ways before.) If you are going on a large ship you will leave from another dock, but they are relatively close. Only problem was the long line for taxis at the airport.

Thanks. I was more interested in the timing of getting from the ship to the airport after debarkation. Would like to book a flight 2 1/2 hours after docking.

2 1/2 hrs after docking isn't long enough; even for domestic flights you should plan on at least 2 hr from the time you arrive at the airport.

I didn't think so. Travel agent said it would be fine, but I didn't believe her. Thanks for the head's up.
