Venice airport hotel?
 

I have read the advice to book flights from Venice later in the day, but it looks like that won't be possible for me. I was wondering if there are hotels near the airport that I could consider for our last night's stay.

Alternatively you could stay in Mestre if you prefer to be in town - it's only 20 mins from the airport ...

Or you could stay in Venice, catch a vaporetto (or taxi if you're really concerned) and go to Marco Polo to catch your flight. I've read on this board that it's not that unusual for people to catch a 7:00 am flight coming from a hotel in Venice proper.
