Venice Airport

We are flying into Venice airport to catch a cruise. What is the best mode of transportation to take to the cruise ship terminal and how expensive is it? Should we use the cruise ship transfers as they are quite expensive?

I would do what the cruise ship has arranged. If you can afford a cruise, you can afford to get from airport to the boat! Seriously, depending on how tight your time is... I'd just go with a sure deal.

From what people have posted here the vaporetto (water bus) is a few euro. A water taxi (taking just your group) is 80 to 100 euro.

Also, check with the cruise line.

How much is the cruise line charging for the transfer? What mode of transportation are they offering? What time do you arrive in Venice, and what time do you have to be at the cruise ship? How many people?

We shared a cab with another couple we met at the airport. I think it cost either $10pp or $10 per couple.
