Venice Airport 5am
 

Need to get to San Marco airport for a 7am flight. Does anyone know how to do this?

There is no 'San Marco' airport. Venice's airport is called 'Marco Polo'. Anyway... best thing is walking till piazzale Roma and then take the bus to the airport (if you live inside Venice of course). There is always the water-taxi choice, but it will cost you rather the same price as your flight!

The water taxi costs 80-100Euro... but it may not come if a pouring rain occurs, according to some passengers in the airport this week (who told us their reserved taxi called and cancelled).

I just had the same one. My flight was at 7-30 AM. But I am so panic all the times when I have to get anywhere, I should come as ealier as possible. Anyway, you should take a vaparetto to Piazzale Roma, they run every 20 minutes at night. On the vaparetto station you should look at sign N (Night Routes. On Piazzale Roma you'll take a bus 5 to airport. The first one departures at 5 AM. The ticket cost 3 euros and the bus runs 15 minutes.

We're planning on staying at an airport hotel for our last night before the 0630 flight. And I had better get busy and reserve that room right now......
