Velika Planina meadow or Pokljuka Plateau?
We, three couples, are planning a trip to Slovenia and Croatia in July. We hope to add the Velika Planina meadow or Pokljuka Plateau to a day trip to Bled (it's a Sunday in July so it will be quite busy there) Our ideal would be to enjoy quiet, scenic beauty while getting a small sense of shepherds' lives. Of course, I know that we could easily enjoy days upon days in each of the areas. However, we are treating this trip as sampler with hopes to return in the near future. Which of the two would you choose?
