Vegetarian (vegan) restaurants in Europe

Hi fellow travellers,
I would like to know more about vegan restaurants in Europe especially in places like Helsinki,Stockholm,Prague,Rome etc.

I think vegan restaurants will be quite difficult to find. Are you opposed to eating at vegetarian restaurants, or at restaurants that have some vegan offerings but not all?

I would also recommend the "happy cow" website. Has veg. restaurants listed by city--all over the world. An excellent resource.

It will not be that difficult. In Rome, there are several excellent restaurants where you can easily dine Vegan. Two that come to mind are Arancia Blu and Il Margutta. In addition, most any restaurant should be able to accommodate you with salad, vegetable side dishes, and pasta. Just make sure to ask (in Italian if you can) if the pasta was made with eggs, or if there is any cheese in the dish.

The other cities will be more challenging, but I would not let it stop you from going
