Vatican Scavi tour? hit or miss?

Is the Scavi/Necropolis tour interesting and cool or long and boring? I've heard conflicting reports.

I was at the scavi tour last week and it is pretty amazing. Everyone is different regarding what they want to know about. I loved seeing the tombs that were excavated near St Peter.

Not only is it interesting, but yeah cool too. The whole time I was in there I was thinking now this is something you don't get to do everyday. Certainly it isn't long. Our's lasted an hour, but only four showed for that particular group.

Tracy --

If you can get passes for it, you've GOT to do it. It's a great experience. My wife and I went on it last year and it was quite a unique tour to say the least!

Bob
