Vatican Museums open on Sunday?
 

Hi Everyone

We wanted to visit these museums on a Sunday, some of my info says they are open, some state they are closed. Does anyone know for sure?

I belive they are closed on Sundays

They're only open the last Sunday of the month according the Vatican's site -- here's the deal:

Closed dates:
Sundays, except for the last Sunday of each month, unless it falls at Easter, on June 29 (St. Peter and Paul), or on December 25 and 26 (Christmas Holiday)

Yes, open only on the last Sunday of the month, when it's free and therefore very crowded with locals, esp families.
