I just tried sending an e-mail request for the tour and I got a message back as undeliverable as it was an "unknown or illegal e-mail address. Has anyone else had better luck?
Thanks Jackie

I got a similar message on my first try but it went through on the second go-around for some reason. I would try again.

TAKE A GUIDED TOUR!!!

We missed our tour guide and did it alone and had no idea what we were looking at, got pushed and pulled along in the cattle drive to the Sistine Chapel so that by the time we got there my children were disappointed and said it was "over rated" I'm sure if we had a good tour they would have had a better impression.

Definitely worth the money. Try standing in line for about 2 hours in the Roman sun and see how much NOT doing that is worth to you.
We took the tour in October 07 and it was great. The guide was knowledgeable, we avoided all the lines, and it was quite enjoyable. We all got headphones that received her transmissions and everything was very intelligible.

we went to the Vatican on saturday and there was a long line to get it....and we decided to go back on monday wewere offered many tours outside walls... we booked on internet through Eternal City Tours . Robert was fantastic!!!! No line, no wasted time. The best tour of my Italy's trip. We also went to the Colosseum with him the next day. Go to the Vatican, it is a great experience.
