Thanks for the followup. Gird yourself for SJ's withering condemnation.

I have no problem with DebitNM choosing to go for the refund of 40E. That's his business.

Janisj obviously needs every penny she can get and goes for the refund every time it seems. There do have to be some poor people in the world, not everyone can afford to ignore such things. I get that.

What does not seem fair, is when one has a 45 min. connection in CDG.. it is virtually impossible to even consider trying to get refund back.

And I'm sure Debit appreciates the blessing.

Janis and I. We're in the Poor People's Club. It's a nicer group than the Smug People's Club.

His is a her. She's quite nice, & "energetic" too. Travels quite a bit. Her husband is a MD. Rides a motorcycle.

40E buys an OK bottle of wine for dinner.

Stu Dudley

I am usually quite careful to use 's/he' when I write Stu unless I am pretty sure someone is a he or a she from things they have written. I don't know where I go the idea DebitNM was a he. She will just have to accept my apology.

Now don't tell me 'StuDudley' is a she. Some handles do seem to make gender clear. Maybe we should all have to choose 'gender clear' handles. It would make it easier when responding anyway.

Nope, Stu's all man! :o)

DebitNM Dec 28th, 2014 11:02 AM

oh, and apology accepted. If you had clicked on my profile....but that's ok.

vincenzo32951 Dec 28th, 2014 02:13 PM

Uh, oh, peter. You really pushed her over edge. And she wasn't all that stable to start.

Vincenzo, I suspect that the Empress in question may have no clothes.
