VAT refund help
 

Unfortunately, I waited till I passed through passport and security controls before trying to deal with VAT refund. Was told it was too late to get the necessary form stamped - had to be done before going through all the controlled areas. Does anyone know if it is still possible to get the tax refund once home in the US?

It worked for me once, I sent all of my paperwork with airline flights, flight stubs, and copies of the customs stamps when departing and returning home. This was about 4 years ago though.

Where did you send all your documentation to?

Were you given a VAT refund envelope at any of the shops you were at?

It also worked for me last year with purchase from Lausanne. I got my refund check in about 2 months.
