VAT Refund Charles de Gaulle With Early Flight
 

Does anyone know what time the VAT office in Charles de Gaulle? Our flight back to the U.S. is at 10:50 am on a Saturday so I'm concerned that we won't be able to get all our VAT transactions taken care of prior to departure.

I think the offices open at 8 AM. You should have time to get your paperwork stamped by Customs.

There is a detaxe window available at CDG 24/7. Allow plenty of extra time for this process as it must be done prior to your checking luggage (assuming you will pack that which you have purchased) and the lines can sometimes be extra long. Being at CDG by 07h30 would not be too early.

I usually take 10:30AM flights and always get my VAT done. I think the office opens at 7AM, but I'm not totally sure although I've seen that sign so many times that the time should be permanently in my memory. Happy Travels!
