Van Rental in Zurich -- to Bosnia and Croatia
 

We are going to be going to Europe next spring and will have 4 adults and 2 kids in tow. My original plan was to rent a van and drive to from Switzerland to the Balkans. However, I am having a hard time finding a van rental alone in Zurich, yet alone one that will allow it to be driven to Slovenia, Bosnia, and Croatia. We did find one, but the company does not allow "luxury" cars into the Balkans, and apparently VW falls into that category.

I'm probably going out on a limb here -- but does anyone have any leads on a company that has vans AND allows them into the Balkans? We'd be willing to take a train, if needed, to get it. Our route is open. Originally I was wanting to go into Italy and Slovenia on the way there and up through Austria on the way back, but that is flexible.

Option 2 is just flying there. I really wanted to do the drive, though. My husband is from Mostar and we usually stick to the southern part of Croatia and Bosnia when we go, so I was hoping to enjoy a nice drive to check out the rest of the country.
