Van Parking in Paris

I'm driving back to the Uk from the French Alps in mid May in a large van (2.5m high, 5m long).
I'm planning on stopping in Paris on the way back.
Can anyone tell me the best place to park said van? So far i've found many car parks with a 2m height restriction. i want to park the beast in the suburbs and train/metro to my hotel but ideally would like secure parking as it will contain all my worldly goods!
Any ideas???

I did a quick search and came up with the above link. I know nothing about them so this is not an endorsement. Hope it works for you.

If I had all my worldly goods in a van, I would perhaps not stop in a large city, especially not if I had to leave the vehicle in a remote suburban lot.

In Boston, where I lived for many years, there were gangs of kids who specialized in stealing and stripping out-of-state vans, cars and motor caravans, knowing that even if they were caught, the victims were unlikely to return for prosecution.

Perhaps the French are more honest. But I would look for lots of razor wire and an attendant before I even considered it.
