Judy,
Thanks for the suggestions of Ronnie Scott's and Pizza Express. Short of hearing about any "major" concerts, I think that we will try one of these two places. I agree with you about Diana Krall, we've seen her before,it would be great to see her in a smaller venue. However she's becoming such a big "pop" act that I'm not sure that will ever happen again. I just see where a new show has been added. Hampton Court Palace Festival in East Moseley England. Dates are June 9th and 10th. Can anyone tell me where East Moseley is and anything about seeing Van in this Venue. Tickets don't go on sale until March 1st and I have no idea what the price will be.

Don't try to see him anywhere with a high stage.
As he has vertigo he then feels entitled to hide at the back & let someone else lead the band.Depending on where you are sitting, you might not see him at all. |
If I ventured in the Slipstream, Between the viaducts of your dream, Where immobile steel rims crack, And the ditch in the backroad stop, Would you find me, would you kiss my eyes, And lay me down in silence, easy, To be born again?....

zippo - do you know if the stage at the Hampton Court Palace is a high stage?
Does anyone know what brotherleelove is talking about!? |
Ah, Paige, you have so much to learn!!

He played at a castle in Killyleagh, a small village in Norther Ireland, last summer. He hasn't played there every year, but has been there a few times in the past several years. Great craic!

brotherleelove2004's post is nothing more than Van Morrison lyrics, paige. Don't panic.

The trains from London's Waterloo atation to Hampton Court run twice an hour, take 32 minutes.
Directions by car, bus, and riverboat are also on this site-- http://www.hrp.org.uk/webcode/content.asp?ID=49 |
He's playing the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 9th. It's a great venue.

This website will give you a Van Morrison concert schedule:
http://www.orlandofloridaguide.com/e...s/vanmorrison/ Really wasn't so difficult to find. |
I don't know if you're interested in going to Scotland, but he will be playing there on Tuesday, 29 June 2004 in Glasgow at the Clyde Auditorium. I'm actually planning a trip that includes this concert. If he's having an "off night" so be it. That's part of who he is. Besides, there are a lot of other things to do while I'm there, right? Tickets are on sale at http://secc.co.uk/ if you're interested. Fly into Glasgow, Wimbledon shouldn't be a factor. Good luck.
