Vallebona Agritourismo

Has anyone ever stayed at the Vallebona, which is in the Chianti region of Tuscany? (abot 6 km from a town called Pontassieve). They conduct horseback treks through the countryside to various sites.

Just looking for opinions.

Thanks!

Look at reviews of Tuscany rentals at slowtrav.com
Tuscany is quite large--always pick a rental based on location. Get a good guide book and then decide where you want to be.

Thanks Bob! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any reviews of this facility, other than the guest testimonials on the website.
If anyone has stayed here,I'd love some feedback, particularly about the riding.

Hi all!
Thought I'd try one more time...any input on the Vallebona?

I do know that Frommer's guide for Italy includes it, if that's any help.

I can't help but I heartily disagree with the advice to always pick a rental based on location. You should pick a location to sleep in Tuscany based on what it is you want to do in Tuscany. Many people want to go to Tuscany to do something other than endlessly drive around sightseeing, and many agriturismi and towns offer other interesting activities that may personally mean more to an individual traveler than the standard tourist experience of "tuscany."

Thanks Zeppole! My 21y/o daughter is working there this summer...I suppose Frommer's wouldn't include it in a travel guide if they didn't approve.
