Validating train tickets - Germany, Switzwerland

Hi,

I have bought a Flexi ticket from Feankfurt to Basel, and also a Swiss Travel pass. Is there anything to be done to validate tickets before boarding the train?

Thanks!

You don't need to validate the train ticket.
Don't know anything about the Swiss travel pass, though.

P.S. If you bought the train ticket online to print @ home or to have it in the app, you need to have that piece of ID with you which you had chosen during the payment process.

If your Swiss Travel pass is an open dated one, then yes, you have to have it validated at a ticket office at the station before your first start. I think that is true of any such rail pass (Eurail, etc.). You should have received instructions when you bought it, didn't you?
