Valentine's in Venice- Restaurant Suggestion
 

Can anyone suggest a great restaurant in Venice for Valentine's Day dinner?

I would suggest a restaurant in Montecchio Maggiore, between Verona and Vicenza. It is said to be owned by Romeo's family. They have an elegant dinner in the castle. Castello de Guilletta It is wonderful on Valentines.

It could sound a bit worn but you may want to look at the rooftop dining room at the Danieli or the restaurant at the Westin Europa. Both are right on the grand canal, incredible views and good food. we went to both for drinks around sunset and were captivated.

I would recommend Fiaschetteria Toscana, Campo San Giovanni Srisostomo, Cannaregio 5719; Tel. 041 5285281, near Realto. Fabulous food, professional service and wonderful atmosphere. You will love it.
