Val d’Ochia or the Sienese Clay hills area

Which area do you think has prettier scenery - Val d’Orcia/Pienza or the Sienese Clay hill area? I have been in Val d’Orcia but not the clay hills. I’m taking my family and we have a private guide who will do either. I can’t compare because I have not been to the clay hills. My family has not been to Italy and I want this to be the best experience for them. We will make a stop in Siena on either trip so I know it will be a long day since we are starting in Florence. Any recommendations or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It should read Val d’Orcia - one shouldn’t post a question late at night.
