Vacationing with a 3 year old and 13 year old

Are there children museums's in the London Area? Is there a zoo? We will be travelling to London in March 2004, and are looking for children oriented fun things to do. Thanks.

There is a zoo in Regent's Park; not that big, but your 3-year old will enjoy it. My children always liked the Natural History Museum, as well as the Science Museum; both of these have something that will interest both children. The Aquarium, next to the London Eye will also appeal to them probably. There are also the parks; there is a nice playground in Kensington Gardens.

Hi Judy,

Check the London miniguide at www.fodors.com for "Best Bets with Kids".

ricksteves.com has a forum called Grafitti Wall with lots suggestions for both kids and teens. Look under the "Women. Solo, Seniors" subheading.

Hi patg,

I do not doubt that you are correct, but I do find it interesting that information on travelling with kids would be filed under older women traveling alone.

Yes, that's why I posted in detail. I believe it's an omnibus for special needs travelers, i.e., "Women, Seniors, Solo, ...." The "etc." is implied.
