Vacation Rentals France

I have used VRBO and holidayrentals uk, and sent out numerous e-mails. Only a handful have replied after more than 3 days. Should I send follow up memos or just assume that those who have not replied are not interested.

I was looking at something on holidayrentals uk last night and think I saw something that said you should call if you dont hear back in 5 days?

I'd email again. Our replies to inquiries were spread out over a week or two.

I am one for good customer service. If I received no reply, that would indicate to me poor service. If they can't reply to a simple email, then I would spend my $$$ elsewhere. What if you had a problem while you were renting one of their lettings, I wonder if they would reply or be around to help. There have been a number of postings here where the owners and letting agents simply gave little to no service. There are many rentals available and why should you chase those that don't reply. Sure you may get the excuse, they were away, their PC may have been down etc. But that's me.

etonbeach has a good point. as an owner of a property on vrbo i check my email at least twice a day. while on vaction or during busy times we may slack a few days. i think you should inquire once more and drop the one that don't respond. also ther may be a delayed responce from an owner if some one else is requesting the same time period, but they should at least send a note to let you know.
