Vacation in Paris #116

We are bringing my mother for her 70th birthday....she really wants to spend most of her time at the Louvre. What do you know of this apartment? I know we have a flight of stairs to walk up after the lift, but she is not feeble. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

You haven't given enough information for any one to respond, bgr8ful. You need to post the website regarding the apartment you are considering. Best regards.

So sorry! Here is the link to the place we are thinking of. I know I read on one of the pages how to make this a link, but I can't seem to get it to work. Thank you! I guess you can't tell that I am knew to this?:):)

bgr8ful,

I know this apartment has been discussed before. People have commented that it's small for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath, and there is no kitchen or dining room table pictured. http://www.vacationinparis.com/apts/id_116.htm

If you don't mind those things, I think the apartment would be terrific. So very convenient for your mother to go to the Louvre, and a beautiful view as well.

Vacation in Paris gets some good reviews on the board.

If you post a budget, you may get alternate suggestions.

No kitchen? Both posted websites show that there is a kitchen along with a picture of the kitchen. It does seem to lack a dining area however and that the only table and two chairs are out on the deck. That is rather strange.

Guess I didn't write that very well. I meant no table for dining in either the kitchen or in a dining area. The kitchen looks quite nice.

We are looking in the 300-400 per night range. I checked into Paris Perfect because it got great reviews, but it seemed to be weekly and what was available was much more than this.

Paris Perfect will rent for less than a week IF they happen to have the space for when you need it.
