vacation apartment in Paris for 4

Our plans have now changed from Provence and Rome to Paris and Normandy! But thank you to all who posted replies - I will save the info for a later trip (I hope!)
Does anyone have any good suggestions for an apartment in Paris for my husband and I and our two sons (ages 20 and 23)? I was reading about Citadines St. Germain des Pres Apartments but the beds sound horrible! Just need someplace clean, comfortable with good location and decent price.

Try these:

vrbo.com
bienvenueparis.com
chsparis.com

I'm using vacation in paris in October, others on this site have used them and few of the ones above..

Good Luck!

Hi.... Visit this site:

www.beau-paris.com

I have booked two separate apartments in Paris here and they were AWESOME, from the booking thru to the end of trip! You deal DIRECTLY with the owner and the prices are EXCELLENT and the apts. have been much nicer than pictured or expected. Both times we stayed in the 15th arrnsmnt., just 1 block apart from each other, with 2 major/connecting Metro stops less than 1 block from the apts.! The apts. (you can find @ the website) are: Rue Beuret and Rue Copreaux (although we never stayed @ rue Beuret, but rather @ rue Borrommee, but it's since been sold and isn't for rent any longer). I refuse to deal with any other website for Paris apartments now! Phillipe, the owner of rue Beuret is like a friend to us now and the owner of rue Copreaux is just as kind and helpful. Have fun on your trip! Mark M.

I will check out all your recommendations.
Thank you!
Any advice on where to spend maybe 2 nights in Normandy - we want to visit the D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel and maybe St. Malo? I've read some good suggestions about taking the train there and then renting a car.

We rented the two-bedroom Place des Victoires apartment from www.vacationinparis.com for Easter week 2003. It's at 25 rue Herold, a quiet street in the 1st arrondisement, about a ten minute walk to the Louvre, and close to the Les Halles metro. We were there with our three children, so although it's cozy, it should be fine for you and your sons. Our bedroom had a double bed, the girls had two single beds, and there was a small sleeper sofa in the living room.

I've had excellent service from this site (used them many times) & they also have many apartments they represent in Paris. Rates are in USD if you're in the States.
