US passports in poland

Hello,

I am getting mixed signals on pass ports for Poland I hear the following:

1) you need a valid passport for your stay

2) you need a passport with at least 3 months on it from your arrival.

I am taking a 4 day trip to Poland and in early April and my passport expires mid May?

Any advise is helpful. Thanks,

"you need a passport with at least 3 months on it from your arrival."

It needs to be valid for 3 months after your planned departure from Poland.

Don't risk it, you should renew your passport now. It isn't just Polish immigration you have to worry about - the airline may not let you board if they think you have too little validity left. If they fear Poland will not allow you ro enter they will not send you there and be liable to have to return you to the States.

And don't try to say, that just Poland has this 3-month rule. Most countries in the world now have it, also.

Best of luck on getting a new passport before you leave the States. You only have a couple weeks.

You can expedite - turn-around times to process passports have improved immensely since the fiascos of last year.
