us airways flight 188
Has anyone flown US airways flight 188 from Charlotte NC to Paris recently econ class? If yes, how was the flight? were you cramped? was the food ok? and how was the service? Is there anything else I should know about the flight?

Yes, I flew it once.

Two people didn't like the food.

One guy was just getting over a cold.

And several were in a bad mood.

It was horrible.
Yeah, but it's cheap.

Thanks for your replies. By your negative descriptions would you fly it again? Was the problem mainly food ? service? or cramptness? thanks

I suspect none of the above are serious replies. I don't think the Charlotte/Paris route has been flying for long. I'm interested in options for flying from the east coast, and like to use USAirways 'cause it's my frequent flier airline. If I can't use my miles for tickets or an upgrade at least I'm earning enough to get/maintain preferred status.

Actually, my response was serious. I'll put up with a bit of cramped space and 2nd rate food for a cheap flight to France.

My family and I are taking this flight in mid-April and if you're interested I'll post my "review."
I was pleased with this flight.

Space in economy class: I'm 5'10" and I had a about 3 inches from my knees to the seat pocket on the back of the seat in front of me.

food -- good for airline food.

service -- excellent. The flight attendents were friendly, courteous, and service oriented.

And the pilot did a great job of landing the 767 in Paris during extremely windy conditions ( i felt like i was on a roller coaster all the way down to the ground). The passengers gave him a round of applause on touchdown.
