URL'S for Paris Hotels

I have been looking for the URL for Relais Hotels, but can't seem to find it, does anybody know if they have one?

Are there any other sites to book hotels beside www.france.com and www.paris.com?
I have tried to book a hotel for 3 adults for 4 nights in early October through www.france.com and they are all booked out. I am wary to try and book through www.paris.com as on thier request for reservation they want credit card details, this is without knowing if they have accomodation. Has anyone booked through them, if so I would be grateful for thier experience with them.
Any recomendations would be appreciated.

Stella,
Do you mean Relais & Chateaux hotels? If so, their URL is www.relaischateaux.fr. For other hotel ideas, I believe you can find a long list of hotels with fax numbers at paris.org.

suzann

Check out www.hotelinformation.com. This gives you world-wide hotel info.

Hi Stella
Some are of the opinion to use the web sites only to gather info on hotels, and to find out their fax numbers. I would fax (or call) your hotel(s) of choice directly if that is feasible for you to do. The rates on the group web sites are sometimes higher than what the hotel front desk will quote, and you have the advantage of faxing only a particular hotel your credit card info, and receiving back a fax confirmation.
Here are more web sites:
www.paris-touristoffice.com Paris Visitors Bureau
www.bparis.com/
www.paris-hotel.com
www.frenchexperience.com/ www.hotelboulevard.com/ www.123france.com/

I'm going to Paris in September. I was planning to book a hotel over the internet this weekend, but after reading the responses to Stella's question and some messages (on another board a few minutes ago) stating that reservations disappear if you use france.com, I think I'll follow Elaine's advice. Thanks for the tips. I discovered this Fodors site only last night. Just in time.
I used www.hotelboulevard.com before, and after placing my reservation on the web, the woman who received my information replied within a day and even called me the next day to confirm. Upon arriving at the hotel, the person at the front desk had my name and the type of room I requested, so I would use that site again.

I used www.hotelboulevard.com early in the year and was extremely pleased with the user-friendly site, and the excellent service. They responded promptly. After I returned they sent me a survey which I filled out and e-mailed back to them. I could tell that they actually read my survey as they e-mailed me back with specific comments about what I noted in the survey. I felt fortunate to have found the site as I was able to locate a charming small hotel in a pleasant area at $80 for a twin.
