Upcoming trip - thanks for all the help

I don't post much on this forum, but I have spent countless hours over the last 4 months running searches and reading threads to prepare for my upcoming 3-week trip to Paris, London, Amsterdam and the Andalucia region of Spain. This site has been a wonderful tool, and I have followed many Fodorite recommendations in planning the trip. I have also enjoyed the warmth and joy with which many of you speak about your travels. It really adds a lot to the forum, I think.

In any event, I just wanted to say thanks. I am incredibly excited about the trip (6 days in Paris on our own, 5 days in London visiting friends, quick 2-day stop in Amsterdam to visit a close friend, and 8 days in Spain visiting friends for 5 of those days). My husband and I leave next week. I'll be sure to post a trip report!

Abby97, have a GREAT time in Paris (and those other places)!!

Am eagerly looking forward to your trip report?

How many times have you been overseas? I envy you a full 3-week trip. It'll be a blast.

My best wishes too Abby. I was there today by celluloid in "Before Sunset."

Thanks, everyone, and my apologies for taking so long to reply. Beatchick, this is my first trip overseas. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively in the US, as well as the Caribbean and Central America, but for a variety of reasons, I haven't been able to get over to Europe until now. Thanks again, Beatchick, for the restaurant spreadsheet. I have already packed it!
