Up, Up and Away!
Flying Swiss Air to Zurich, then on to France. Does anyone have a rating of the airline/planes they'd like to pass along? Never flown this airline before. Thanks!

I am a big Swissair fan. We've been using them from Chicago to Eastern Europe for 3 years. Planes are good, service is GREAT! As a middle-aged woman I appreciate the humor and kindness of the attendants, both male and female. [Ummmm... but especially the male;) They're *cute* :)]Food is better than average -- the swiss wines are surprisingly tasty. AND they give you ice cream on the return to the US trip:)The one time we had a bad delay in Zurich they not only kept us informed. but arranged for two "snack/drinks" at the little food counter near our gate. We joined their "Qualiflyer" program and haven't been sorry.

Noted in yesterday's paper that the readers of some financial mag (Money or Forture, I think) recently rated SwissAir as the best in the business.

During last year's American Airlines non-strike strike, SwissAir showed more concern about getting us to Milan than the aforementioned *#@&$! airline. Clean cabin, NICE gate and flight personal, and chocolate i/o peanuts. A little slice of heaven IN the heavens!

Agree completely. Every time we've flown Swissair it's been a good trip. I sure shows you what air travel could be if the U.S. airlines would get with the program. Enjoy your trip.

Just be sure you get a true Swissair flight -- not one on Delta or American, who do code-shares with them. Swissair is fantastic! The other two . . . NOT.

Swissair flights operated by Swissair themselves have three-digit flight numbers, codeshare flights have four-digit numbers startin with "7" if operated by American and by "8" if operated by Delta

Enjoy your trip!

Phil
