Unzip Romania
 

Are any of you familiar with UnzipRomania Travel? We are considering a visit to Romania to do some family genealogy and it will involve visiting 2 small villages in Transylvania. We could either rent a car in Bucharest or use a travel agency for a private tour. I've seen mixed reviews of UnzipRomania Travel. I will appreciate any advice or referrals.

Never heard of them, but they look legit and have good reviews on TA. However, I found it easy to travel in Romania mostly by public transport with an occasional car and driver booked on the spot. (For the TR for my second trip see: https://mytimetotravel.wordpress.com...ing-bucharest/ - my first trip I did use a car and driver booked ahead and regretted it.)
