Unlimited Internet Poland and best place to visit?
Last year when I was on vacation in Japan, we rent at the airport a router with private wifi. It really helped us. This year, we're going for 2 weeks to Poland, the first stop in Warsaw. If anyone knows that if in Poland we can also rent this type of pocket wifi router?
I found Polish WiFi. If any of you used a router from them? I have one more question. For sure I’m going to visit Warsaw and Krakow but I wondering about third place. Which one will you advice Gdansk, Wroclaw or something else. |
Certainly Gdansk/Gadania and the Templars Castle to the south of there (Malbork or something). Wroclaw is good too. Posnan is good stop too.
Didn't like Warsaw, might avoid. |
oh, yes, this is not a trip report could you ask the editors to remove the globe, just click on the triangle and ask
|
I used it! It was very fast (LTE/4G) and it worked almost everywhere. Not to mention it was a lot cheaper than roaming... It's also unlimited so I highly recommend it.
From polish cities the most beautiful and interesting are Gdansk, Poznan, Cracow nad Lodz (last one's not very popular but totally charming and uncrowded!) Have a nice trip! |
I haven't been to Gdansk but have been to Wroclaw and it was very nice.
I would not avoid Warsaw if you are interested in it and its history, there are many interesting museums and sites there. |
Trip to Poland was owsome. I want thank you lamaila for suggest Lodz like third place to visit.
Lodz is hardly like krakow.....two totally different towns....mostly a shabby town...it lost all its manufacturing sector after the fall of communisn.... but ...its not without its charms...it has a verry long major pedestrian street....full of lovely restored succesionist (art noveau) buildings... Of course the trip was successful thanks to the fact that we had all the time Internet from polishwifi.com Google maps were very useful to us. |
I am glad you loved Poland but I am mesmerised by your last comment : no wifi would have meant a disastrous trip ?
