Unique Ideas for 10 hours in London

We have seen most of the major sights in London on previous trips. We'll have about 10 hours while awaiting a flight. Any ideas for unique things to do?

- What time of year?
- Your 10 hours are what time of day (if from say 0600 to 1600, suggestions would be entirely different then 1200 to 2000)
- do you have 10 hours total between flights - or 10 free hours not counting immigration/security/check in etc.
- Which airport(s)?

oops - hit post too soon. It sounds nit picky, but really to make any useful suggestions we need to know the time of year/hours of the layover, etc . . . . .

I'd also include in that the date & day of week as what is possible on a Monday is different from what is possible on a Sunday which is different from what is possible on 25th December

What about taking a taxi and visiting Windsor or if you've seen Windsor considering a nice town by the river like Marlow where you can get a good meal and have a walk with pleasant scenery

a day in a market, whichever is on on thatday - pic a major one and you won't be disappointed with the streetlife and streetfood either. I reccommend Brick Lane, Borough (foodie centrale), and Portobello. Retire to a well picked out pub / restuarant in the vicinity.

londonengland and zupermaus have given you a couple of possible ideas - but w/o knowing the day of week and hours of your layover, there is no way to tell if they would work in your case . . . . .
