Unico Costiera Tickets Have Gone Down in Price!!!!

Here is a press release from SITA which announces that, effective April 7, 2014, the fares for the various UNICO COSTIERA bus tickets (for service between Sorrento and Salerno) have gone DOWN:

Si porta a conoscenza della Spett.le Clientela che dal 7 aprile entrera' in vigore il nuovo biglietto Unicocostiera. Unicocostiera e' il biglietto per turisti e non residenti in Campania che consente spostamenti sui mezzi di trasporto SITA SUD nei comuni di:

Unicocostiera is the new ticket for tourists and allows to travel on SITA bus service in the following towns:

Agerola, Amalfi, Atrani, Cetara, Conca dei Marini, Furore, Maiori, Massa Lubrense, Meta di Sorrento, Minori, Positano, Piano di Sorrento, Praiano, Ravello, Salerno, Sant'Agnello, Scala, Sorrento, Tramonti, Vietri sul Mare.

Orario 45' / Hourly 45': euro 2,20 OLD FARE: 2.50 Euros

Orario 90' / Hourly 90': euro 3,40 OLD FARE: 3.80 Euros

Finally, a bit of good news for patrons of the Amalfi Coast bus routes who have been complaining for quite a while about how crowded the buses are between Sorrento and Amalfi (and between Amalfi and Ravello). The buses are not getting any less crowded, but at least the fares have now dropped a bit!
