Just a note to thank ComfyShoes and Isabel for the great photo links. Loved yours, comfy, and will enjoy exploring your albums as I have time, Isabel.

Thanks, Kend/Ana Maria, for your kind comments. Not putting my personal photo up was intentional. It is because I am the ugliest guy you will ever meet. Also I do not have any front teeth (though it makes it easy to drink soup) and I seem to have misplaced one of my eyebrows so only have one. Basically if you see me in person, you may have bad dreams and, while I may be ugly, I AM kind, I did want to spare you that.

Comfy: Your photos are beautiful! I also love to take pictures, graduated to digital SLR last year before a trip to Greece. I really appreciate all the shots you had, nice framing, balance, patterns, etc. Thanks for posting them.

Hi, Challiman,
Thanks. However, and I really mean it, I do not even understand some of the terms. I simply have a nice digital SLR and if you go to the right places and take enough pictures, some seem to work out okay enough. But there are people here (check out Olegis's thread) who are as close to being a pro as it gets. What I can tell you is that I enjoy it enough to forget to keep track of time. This is one reason why I lug my camera and its multiple lenses in every business trip I take lately, because it changes my relatively-free evenings when out of town to something extremely relaxing focussing on which pictures to take, where, and how. And I have a job where I (like to) work very hard but am fortunate because I can pretty much decide which city I need to be in and when, which adds to the fun.
Regards.

ComfyShoes gave a great key..Take a lot of shots..You'll be surprised at the different looks you will get when taking a number of shots of the same things...We've burned a whole roll of film (before digital) or more to get just the right light and look of one scene.
Enjoy look for just the "right one"
