This would be a question I'd miss on a travel quiz:

Where is the Ulysses coast?

The coastline which is between Rome and Naples along the Gulf of Gaeta is known as the Ulysses Coast. I only know that because my grandfather was a sea captain and talked about it.

I Googled it and it sounds like a very relaxing and out of the way place to enjoy Italy sandrajoyce. I will be interested if any Fodorites have stayed along this coastline. If you type in Uslysses Coast on Google you will pull up interesting articles and photos. Let us know what you work out sandrajoyce!!

Wow. I love it when someone mentions a place I've never heard of and then find out I've already been there and explored it. New name to me!
By the way, I guess I need to post about our day trip to Ponza.

LOL Neo, that was funny! Actually I wish that when you have time you would post a trip report on the time you two spent in Europe. There wasn't time at the luncheon and visit to hear about it and personally I would love to hear about your experiences. Have a good weekend!
