P.S. If you google, you'll see the diaries through the years but I have never found the original writer.
But we all know that dogs will come when called and cats will sy, I'll get back to you later.
There are alot of books recently on dogs so I'll suggest a true story about a cat by Peter Gethers, "The Cat who went to Paris."

Ah, the Norton books! The Cat Who Went to Paris, followed by A Cat Abroad and The Cat Who'll Live Forever. Wonderful books. Thanks cigalechanta, for reminding me of them.

Just got back after orchestra. Didn't mean for someone to think I wrote the diary. I just wish! Just thought it was funny and wanted to share.

<Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving round his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.>

Bad cat! My reference to Baxter was from i think an obscure cult film in France where a dog Baxter has the same exact thoughts and actually does it at the top of the stairs - killing i think the old man that was his jailer. He came to regret it i believe and later missed the conforts he had been provided. But not sure - been ages since i've seen it.
