UK photos and a few videos posted

At long last they are done. These are the photos of our May 2010 trip to England and Scotland. The trip report "Volcano gods....." continues on a separate thread.

TDudette - hoping that you see this. As you have probably guessed, You have been my expert and personal consultant in things photographic and I really admire your work, so here is a question about printing. There are 2 photos in this UK group that I am particularly fond of - the first one in the Mary Arden's Farm set, and the last one in the Around Bath set. Both were candid shots. My question is, I have printed each at 8.5 X ll and that worked well, but I would like to print them even larger. The problem is that the X and Y resolution is a low 72 dpi each for both photos. I think I could get away with 11 X 14 but would like to go a bit larger. How big a print do you think I could get away with without losing quality and introducing artifacts such as pixelation and noise?

Thanks Nikki, and thanks especially to janisj who pointed out a mistake in labeling (on another thread). It has been corrected.

sheri_lp--The haggis was pretty decent, but not something I would order often. On the other hand, I twice had vegitarian haggis (how's that for an oxymoron) that I really enjoyed at the Urban Angel and at Magnums, both near our B&B.

Nancy_W --Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

I Knew that was Bailey's staircase. I took the exact same picture! Wonderful photos. The details really stand out.

Jeepeejee - it's good to see you back on Fodors - it has been awhile. Yes, our trip was better than expected, and we left for this trip with high expectations. I know you will like the UK, and it is "just around the corner" from where you live, so it would be an easy trip. We still talk about our wonderful day with you and your wife when we visited Antwerp.
