UK help - online candy/chocolate store

Does anyone know of an online candy store in the UK that will ship to the US? Any UK fodorites know of a great candy/chocolate store that has a website?<BR><BR>I need to get my fix of Cadbury and the US Cadbury is very different from the UK Cadbury. I don't want to buy from a store in the U.S. because I have found the chocolate to be stale.., however when I bring the chocolate back from the UK it stays fresh for much longer.<BR><BR>Thanks!

I recently heard about a co. in New Jersey called something like ukgoods.com, not sure if that's it, but perhaps if you do a search on google or something you'll come up with it.

Yep, just checked and it is ukgoods.com and right on their home page it mentions Cadbury and they do ship all over U.S.

Another favourite chocolate shop here in the UK is Thornton's (their Continental selection of chocolates are yummy!) Not sure if they have a website- try 'Google' search

Thanks for all the replies so far, but I am specifically looking for somewhere that sells the bags of minature bars of the cadbury candy Crunchie. Also Fruit Pastilles. Are there any local store that anyone knows of?

I hate to be a smart ass but have you tried Cadbury's?<BR><BR>http://www.cadburygiftsdirect.co.uk/

I have tried Cadbury, and they have too much other stuff that they are trying to sell. Just looking for the bags of minature Crunchie's and Fruit Pastilles.

And they say "Delivery is within the United Kingdom only." in their terms and conditions

Have you tried the ukgoods.com that I suggested? Perhaps if they don't usually carry it they can accommodate a special request? I really think you'd do better checking on some of the expat websites for uk folks in the us-they usually know about all the sources.

http://www.britishcornershop.co.uk sell crunchies (http://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/pages/chocolatebarscadbury.htm)<BR>and fruit pastilles (http://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/p...gsofsweets.htm) they're based in England and deliver abroad. It seems quite expensive and shipping is extra.

David in the US Hershey is the manufacturer of Cadbury. The Cadbury here is different as you have noted. However, in Canada they have Cadbury and it is the true Cadbury. I would look online for some stores in Toronto or Vancouver that might ship some to you. I had to call Holt Renfrew in Toronto for some Guerlain that I wanted that was only in Europe and Canada. Just a thought. Good luck.
