How bout Blackpool beach? certainly one of the longest if not cleanest stretch of sand in England and also perfect for the bucket-and-spade and paddling crowd.

Do donkeys still give rides on the beach?

Maria_H Jul 24th, 2007 06:54 AM

Blackpool has probably cleaned up it's act more recently but I'm not sure I'd paddle there - besides, the sea goes out too far. Yes, they still have donkey rides at Blackpool and Southport. I have an old picture of myself with my brother and sister on Blackpool donkeys when I was about 2!

was that a joke ? most posters would enter LOL at some stage to indicate there was some humour - I'll wait your reply before I post.

My manservant informs me of a little local difficulty. Apparently some northerners are agitating. Trouble at t'mill and all that bumph.

Poor show kestrel-stranglers. Poor show. Know your place.

markrosy Jul 24th, 2007 07:28 AM

God knows how you survive in a multi-cultural society spouting rubbish like that.

audere_est_facere Jul 24th, 2007 07:31 AM

A sense of humour old chap - it works wonders. Now get back down t'pit!

PalenQ Jul 24th, 2007 07:33 AM

Q audere est farce:

Is LB Greenwich paying you to pontificate and offend northerners? Do you ever work - perhaps Red Ken should know about this blatant waste of taxpayers pounds?

markrosy Jul 24th, 2007 07:35 AM

Haven't you heard we turned most of the pits into Mosques - far more productive !

markrosy Jul 24th, 2007 07:36 AM

Jesus Christ - don't tell me that I am paying for this rubbish!

audere_est_facere Jul 24th, 2007 07:38 AM

Bob - play nicely.

I presume from the amount of rubbish that emanates from your direction - you are involved in cleaning the streets of Greenwich - - the pay be really good to afford a man servant!

audere_est_facere Jul 24th, 2007 08:05 AM

you are involved in cleaning the streets of Greenwich >>>>>

In a manner of speaking - yes.

markrosy Jul 24th, 2007 08:10 AM

Oh ! Thought you'd have clocked off by now if PalenQ's assertions are correct.

audere_est_facere Jul 24th, 2007 08:14 AM
