Uffizi tickets in June...

We are a family group of 15 interested in getting tickets to the sold out Uffizi. Any suggestions?

Hi ff,

Have you called them?

Uffizi and Academia Museum Reservations
The easiest and cheapest way is to call Florence 011 (U.S. international access code) 39 (Italy's country code) then 055-294-883 8:30-18:30 M-F and 8:30-12:00 Sat. Florence time. You will get an English speaking operator and in 2-3 minutes YOU CAN RESERVE FOR BOTH. This is through the reservation service at the Uffizi and costs beyond the normal entry fee only about 3 euro for the service. This is MUCH cheaper than the commercial booking services.
You will not be charged for the reservations unless you use them.

Ira: I just called! I was able to get a reservation for Accademia for June 8th...very easy...no credit card needed..I gave our name, how many, and my favorite time, and I was given a 6 digit reservation #. WOW - Very easy! SAD NEWS>>The Uffizi Gallary is fully booked until the end of June. I was advised to get in line early (before 8am). I am going to e-mail the hotel and see if they can help. Any ideas?

Hi almans,

The Uffizi reservations have been hard to get for May as well as June.

Try your hotel. You might have to use a commercial agency.

Ira: I have e-mailed the hotel. Keeping fingers crossed to avoid wasted time in line. Commercial agent?

I agree that you should ask you hotel if they can get them (e-mail them). Our hotel got them for us, but it was over a month in advance.

We were just there and they had a sign posted that the line was a 5 hour wait and there was no guarantee that you would get in, so make sure to get reservations!

My hotel in Florence says that they have a company with a 1 hour guided tour to see the Gallery for 27 Euro per person without a wait. I e-mailed them to make it happen. Frady: I will check the your suggested site. Thanks all!
