Uffizi guidebook help
Dear Fodorites,
I went to Florence last fall and toured the Uffizi gallery. While I was in their museum shop, I saw a book that was a guide to the gallery's major works. I didn't buy it, as we were only partway through our trip and I figured that I could get it at home. I was wrong! Now we have some friends headed there who are willing to pick it up for me but I can't remember what the book looked like. I just remember that it was NOT a comprehensive guide and that the cost was 10 Euros. It was about the size of a Trade Paperback. Can anyone help me? |
Assuming it's in English:

The book I have is full of beautiful colored pictures of the art on display at the Uffizi - think it is just titled "Uffizi Gallery - The Official Guide to all of the Works" cost about 10 euro. Check ebay.com - the book is listed on there - also many other books from the Uffizi like it.

Thanks for the info - and yes, in English. =) I'll look into those.
