Ubers in Croatia?
 

Hi all. Our trip is less than 6 weeks anway annd we anre getting excited…I have begun to assemble items to take!
Are there Ubers in Croatia, or similar type transportation? If so what would we expect to pay from Airport near Cavtat to Dubrovnik Old town? How do we contact a private driver?

google has so many answers, Uber prices will fluctuate due to the market

There is Uber in Dubrovnik, it is way cheaper than a taxi in the city, but to the airport I’m not sure. Use the Uber fare calculator?

I don’t really advise to use a taxi. Too easy to get ripped off. But there are many private transfer services. Your accommodation can likely help you with that. A private transfer is usually around 35 euros.

if your accommodation doesn’t have anyone to recommend, I use Applicon for transfers in that area.

Janisj…..we are looking for a bit less expensive transportation than taxi, and the bus stop is no where near where we are staying…thank you for your reply

rialtogrl….our accommodation has quoted us 35 euro, so happy to hear that would be the norm. We will stick with their offer then as it is door to door. Thanks for the tips

PickApp works in some Croatia cities. & is MUCH cheaper than taxis
There are some places where the taxis have colluded on exorbitant fare rates-you can negotiate some of the time.
