Uber - Paris

Does Uber operate in Paris? Is it a good option to get from CDG to downtown?

Thanks,

They do operate there but I've never used in in Paris, only where I live in the San Francisco bay area.

I thought Uber was banned in Paris beginning 1/1/15?

Uber POP was banned in France beginning last January. The regular version is still operating to my knowledge.

I've noticed that Uber drivers are a bit different from country to country and city to city. Paris has been my best experience with it. So far, comfortable clean cars, polite drivers and quick service. I loved it. CDG to Montmartre was 45 euro in December.

45€ is pretty much the going rate for some private transfer services, others tend to be more expensive.

45€ looks like whaat I pay for an official taxi - easily found at airport.
But I'm not a guy for Uber or private shuttle.
Except in my neighbourhood - been using the same shuttle company for years - they know me by now.
