Uber in Rome?

Is Uber available in Rome during the Pandemic?

Sort of - local taxi drivers have managed to make it quite challenging for uber to operate, restricting uber to only the more expensive options. Plus, uber has a poor reputation in Rome, with lots of complaints about delays and no show drivers (which we experienced) in addition to costly fares. Better to use the itTaxi app to summon a ride (available for Apple and Android phones) which works in other Italian cities a well.

Never used Uber there, difficult and pricey.
