Uber in Avignon?
 

Hi there,
Do you know if Uber or something similar operates in the Avignon area. We will have a car for day trips etc. but if we wanted to go out for a meal and some drinks, it would be great if we didn't need a designated driver one or two nights.
Also any recommendations for a small group dinner in the western part of Avignon towards Villeneuve les Avignon- We'll be staying in Rochefort du Gard?

I know Uber exists in Avignon, I have no idea if it is easy to get a driver or not, it didn't used to be easy as there weren't many.

That isn't Avignon where you are staying FYI. It isn't even Villeneuve les Avignon, it's 12 km west of Avignon. I hope you have a good reason for staying there as there aren't many restaurants of note there. So whether there is Uber in that location is very doubtful as Uber is only a a few bigger cities in that area.
